This poetry
Is not for me.

A miracle
Would be helpful.
A gift of love
From up above?

No, that's no hope.
I've got to cope.
But I've no time,
Nor any rhymes!

If only, oh,
Edgar A. Poe
Could be my knight,
Teach me to write?

No, that won't work.
It's plain berserk!
So much for aid;
He's dead, decayed.

I'll plagiarize!
That's very wise.
It wouldn't show,
How would they know?

No, if I'm caught
I'll be distraught.
My mum will yell,
I'll be expelled!

How can words be
So easily
Transformed into
Something so new?

This poetry,
Filled with beauty,
Is much too cruel
For me, a fool.

I'm sick
unworthy.Please,
Don't worry that
Brilliant brain of yours
With silly things
Like me.

If I could just
Pull out a rod
And cast a line into your marvelous mind,
I know I'd find endless ideas
Soaked in a soup of
Liquid gold and diamonds.

Such precious jewels
Of  brilliance
Will only ever contrast
With my worthless dirt and rust.

Like the mighty lion
And the foolish lamb,
You and I, we simply
don't belong together.
hopeless.I have a pocket-full
Of fallen stars.
They're as cold as ice
And shine like shadows
In the night.

They used to glisten
Like the sun on the sea,
But that was before
My beliefs struck leaks and
Quenched my doubts
To grow high as
Sequoia trees.

But in a jar in the dark,
Amongst abandoned cobwebs,
There remains one last
Barely flickering light.

Written into
The dusty glass
Of its container,
It reads,

"I wish that I could
Just believe
In wishes
Coming true."
Existentialism.Lets roll down these streets
In stolen shopping carts
With no lines to follow
No destination ahead

But together
And nowhere
But together
And everywhere

No X marks the spot
On the map of existence
We write our own twisted routes
In erasable pens

Nothing's set in stone
None of us have chains
To keep us from living
Or dying as pleased

This path only goes forwards
No such thing as rewind
Immerse yourself into the moment
Your wings are your own so
